Hi! My name is Jerry Sawyer and I serve as the Evangelist for the Piedmont congregation. We moved to Farmville on September 1, 1998 and began to work with this church family. We had worked with West Dyersburg church of Christ, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, from January 1988 - 1998. We served that congregation in various capacities including Pulpit minister, and Youth & Family Minister.
I attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, from 1977 - 1980, and graduated from Troy State University in 1981. I have been married to the former Kathy Thomas since 1980 and we have four children: Steven, 21; Joseph, 19; Rachel, 18; and Laura, 13. We look forward to your visit to our congregation!
