The date has been set for "FRIENDS DAY 2006"- Sunday, October 8th. Please block this date out on your calendar and make plans to bring someone you love to worship with us on this special day. REMEMBER-YOU ARE THE ADVERTISEMENT for this special day. So begin NOW to invite a friend and pray that God will bless our day as we try to REACH out to this community. DON'T MISS IT!

Let me encourage everyone to CONTINUE in the Bible Book of the Month Club. How refreshing it is to pause for GOOD NEWS DAILY from God's Word. If you are not in "THE CLUB,"you can decide to join anytime by DECIDING to read the daily verses!

As usual this year is flying by quickly. Kids are back in school and we are getting more into a routine. As we enter this last quarter-RESOLVE to do ALL that you can to reach out to those around you! Our lives at best are SHORT- share YOUR faith with those around you!

COMING UP

Sunday, September 3rd. Mens' Business Meeting 4:30.

Wednesday, September 6th. Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal 5:30-6:16. Adults- $4/ Children-$2/ Family$12. Menu: Chicken/ Potato Salad/ Baked Beans/ Desert.

Tuesday, September 12th. Ladies Night Out at Macadoos- 6:00 PM, Men's Work Night 6:00PM.

Sunday, September 17th. Monthly Fellowship Meal following the morning worship. Bring a friend and plenty of food.

Thursday, September 21st. Work Night and Men's Dinner. We will work at the building at 6 :00. We will then be going to Country Cookin' for supper.

Saturday, September 23rd. Family Devo at the Burke's.
