Farmville is in the center of Virginia. It is 60 miles south of Charlottesville, 60 miles east of Lynchburg, and 60 miles west of Richmond. It is the home of Longwood College and is 8 miles north of Hampden-Sydney College. Farmville is also the home of Green Front Furniture.
